DRUMMER FOR HIRE
Recording sessions, live performances, short-duration touring - you need a
drummer that's easy to work with and can make your music happen. My playing experience encompasses many styles including: jazz, blues, fusion, rock, reggae, soca, calypso, fusion, AfroCuban, Brazilian, as well as electronic/jungle/D&B. I am available for both live and studio work.

LESSONS
I offer private and group drum instruction. I currently teach out of my
home as well as at the Music Education Center of Long &
McQuade (Ottawa location.)
I offer instruction for all levels of ability from beginner to pro.If you live in Ottawa, Long &
McQuade would be the best location to study with me. The store is located

If you live south of Ottawa, lessons at my
home studio would probably be the most convenient. I am located approximately

CURRICULUM OUTLINE
Through years of practicing, performing and studying, I've created an
intensive program of study for my students. Some key areas of the program
include:
- Stick and foot pedal techniques
- Groove studies covering a wide range of musical styles including: jazz,
Brazilian, rock, fusion, funk, Afro-Cuban, African, Drum and Bass
- Linear drumming
- Double bass drumming
- Advanced four and five way coordination/ independence studies
- Rudimental drumming
- Brushes
- Music theory
- Polyrhythms, cross rhythms and odd meters
To further understand and develop the materials, students will have access to
recordings of various drumming and musical styles. Every student receives
an individualized course of study tailored to the student’s goals and current
level of ability.
